"Astrid" is rigged as a Brigg and sailed many years under British Flag in international waters as a training ship.
1997 the ship was completely restored. The interior with its saloon and cabins were furnished to nowadays demands in the cruising world. The "Astrid" is used for multi daytrips, day trips and long cruises for schools etc.
The ship fullfills highest safety regulations according to EU requirements 98/18 for passenger cruises in Europe and for cruises outside Europe the ship is classified acc. to SI Z1234 as a special purpose ship.
During the summer Astrid cruises in northern Europe, in autumn the ship follows the classical route of sailing ships via the Canaries and the Capverdes to the Carrabean.
The Astrid is an exclusive location for incentives, buisiness meetings, VIP weekends, race attendence and of course long cruises for sailing enthusiasts and young people.
