The junk Dauw Talae ('Star of the Ocean') was built in 1996. The portuguese junk Lorcha, used as adefence against pirates, served as a modeldie for the Dauw Talae.
During extension high value was set on comfort and nobleness. The rustic ship is very much appreciated among German guests.
